My First Blog!

Well hello everybody.

I suppose this is the new age of sharing your thoughts via the internet. I must admit I still prefer to talk to people in person or by phone. But why not experiment a bit?

So what's with the name? Well these three elements I hold rather significant to me.

Silver for Sterling (that's me!). Platinum for the 15 IV units of it that were pumped into me that saved my life from testicular cancer back in 2002. And Iron for the Ironman triathlon that I will attempt on November 23 of this year. This will be my re-attempt to conquer Ironman Arizona once again.

From the periodic table these are abbreviated as Ag, Pt, and Fe respectively.

I hope to keep any of my readers updated with this journey that we call life together. Blessings.
